Entry 2, here comes the Seeker EG6, this time
with upgraded settings from previous year. Suspension is more supple now, the acceleration is
improved as well through additional weight savings. I
hope to see great results. Akira drives the Seeker EG6 for the first time,
first checking out the hairpin behavior. Well, this car drives nicely, though
there’s quite a bit of torque steer. That doesn’t feel good. What the, Akira doesn’t seem to like it at all.
How about Kazama? The car seems to be responding too
much to very little steering angle. Well how about this person (Tsuchiya), he’s
pushing it right away, his sector time is quick. This is too fast! The over steer is scary. Needs relative involvement. Suspension response in this spot is great. Well he’s worried about the over steer a
little, but the VTEC feels great as usual! Doridori starts in this
battle in the front. Alright! Not good! I’ll show you. Or should I wait a little. To be in the same frame. Seeker EG6 is literally babe-sitting
this Bandoei Hachiroku on the straight. But now comes the technical
section suited more for RWD! I’m losing right from start. EG6 is pulling away even in corners! Seeker EG6 dominates the battle. Sorry. Seeker EG6 vs. Techno Pro Spirits MR-S Akira is pumped up in this battle against
touge legendary driver Keiichi Tsuchiya. I’m unbeatable on straights! Go! He’s quick. Seeker’s 235Hp B16B is
dominating the straights. But Akira is able to get
closer on corner entry. Go, go, go… Seeker has great handling for
an FF car though the mid ship MR-S seems to have a
slight edge in corners. Battle continues in second section
with Akira tailing closely. OK. Akira is falling behind a bit, but he’ll
try recover in high speed corner. Dangerous. First round goes to EG6
with a marginal win. This person is still switched ON. Tsuchiyasan. Pretty dangerous. Straight is a no match. Let’s change the order. Let’s start the second
battle in reverse order. Yes, go! This is VTEC’s land. How about from here? Is Akira gonna be able to fully utilize his
corner speed and disturb Tsuchiya’s sanity? Ah this is it, second gear. Is Akira gonna be able to keep the tire
grip at max and defend his lead position? Seeker is able to shave Akira’s
lead distance at once on the straight. Seeker EG6 finishes right behind,
well who’s the winner now??? I’m totally faster in the
last high speed S corner, right. I saw him getting closer and closer to me. But overall, this one wins on straight,
wheres that one in corners. True. Two opposite characteristics. According to Initial D, faster
car in corners is the winner. Re-match. No. No matter how many time we’d
do this it wouldn’t change. It would be the same no matter what order. That being said, Spirits MR-S wins.
