Haunted USS Hornet Paranormal EXTENDED Video │ Ghost Rewind #2

I’m Alejandro. I film paranormal activity.
This is Ghost Rewind. Hey everybody. This is Alejandro, the Dead Explorer. Today on
Ghost Rewind we are taking a look at new evidence from Episode Thirty-Three, which was shot
on the USS Hornet. You guys just walked straight over caught tape. Yea, this don’t look good.
Yea, this is not good, look at this. Yea, you might want to come back again. Man, this
is like, original destroyed Hornet. So as you can see this part of the USS Hornet was
in really bad shape. You know this video was only three minutes long, but the interesting
story behind that this was actually the last five minutes of two days I had spent on the
USS Hornet. This video was actually shot at the Grey Ghost Paracon 2013, a paranormal
conference benefiting the USS Hornet which is now a museum. The USS Hornet was a World
War Two battleship and it’s considered the most haunted battleship in the Navy because
it had the most suicides on any ship in the Navy and it also took down the most fighter
planes during World War Two. So there is a lot of death associated with this ship and
if you watch a lot of the paranormal investigations show on TV you’ll see a lot of the most famous
shows have actually shot episodes there. So while I was at the Grey Ghost Paracon I actually
shot an intro for this episode I never used. Hey everybody this Alejandro, the Dead Explorer,
at Grey Ghost Paracon 2013 on board the USS Hornet. We’re here with a bunch of people
who came out to check out the paranormal. A hundred and twenty-five VIP guests are investigating
with us tonight and this is footage from that investigation. So the Grey Ghost Paracon was
a real awesome event. I decided not to use that intro, but like I said there was a hundred
and twenty-five people there. There were paranormal celebrities, the biggest ones being Bill Murphy
from Fact or Fakes and Paul Bradford from Ghost Hunters International, and I got to
speak too. And one of the cool things was that the people who went to the paracon than
got to investigate overnight which is when I shot this episode. Division Avionics. Restricted
area. Security Clear. Check in with Watch Supervisor. So this was restricted area when
this was in operation. Why is this area restricted? Is there something here we are not supposed
to see? “This is dad’s computer”. If you are wondering who I was asking why the area was
restricted, I actually had a digital recorder in my hand and I was just asking questions
on and off just hoping that if I checked my recorder later on maybe I would have caught
an EVP from a spirit telling me why that area was restricted. Unfortunately, I didn’t get
any response and of course if I had that definitely would have made into an episode. Area closed.
Do not enter. Safety hazard. Don’t go in there. Who is in here? If there someone in there
make a knock. The further we got along, the closer we get to that point where the episode
was actually filmed. So when I say it was shot in the last five minutes of a two day
paracon, I meant it. There actually was a curfew for all the guests who were staying
on board. Everybody had to stop investigating at 2 AM. After that we all went back to a
barracks where we got to sleep overnight. That’s always a very interesting experience.
Sleeping at the site of an investigation. Especially such a haunted location as the
Grey Ghost. There was actually a point when I’d been asleep where I woke up startled because
I felt somebody had been at the foot at my barracks. It’s always really interesting to
sleep at a haunted site. It’s definitely not for the weak of heart. Yea, another crazy
hallway. That is a crazy ass hallway. It just keeps going, and going, and going. I love
that shot right there because just shows exactly what we were doing. There was basically hallway,
after hallway, after hallway. And we were just going inside any door we could, going
up and down stairs, trying to find locations to do, you know, EVP sessions at. And so you
know when you finally get to that section in the end when it’s all burnt down, you will
see how dramatically different that section of the ship is from everything else. The other
investigators I am with right now that appeared in this episode, is the Ghost Files, which
is another of group of presenters at the Grey Ghost Paracon. They are a California based
team that has a show on ROKU. What makes them unique is the co-founders of the group are
eighteen and seventeen years old, and they actually started the group five years ago
so they are actually really experienced for their age and they definitely have their own
energy they bring into the paranormal field that I really like. Now’s your chance. To
be a shadow that walks by this hall. I’m zooming in, it’s time for your close up. Somebody
walk behind us? That was behind you. Yea, that was behind us. That sounded like someone
walking, right? Yea. Whoa! What the? Whoa! What the? Whoa! What the?
Did you hear that? That was a pretty audible sigh and it’s really cool that the microphone
on the camera caught it, even though what we heard was substantially stronger. Another
thing is that a lot of people who watched this video said they saw a shadow figure down
that hallway. Personally, I even noticed some kind of play of reflection at the end of that
hall, but when I was editing I decided to not focus on that because now that I am back
at home I don’t have any way to recreate or test to see if the light on my camera was
casting a reflection. So therefore, I really didn’t feel comfortable sharing that as some
kind of evidence. Finally I’m going to end this video by showing you what happened right
after the episode originally ended. I think we have gone off the USS Hornet deep end.
I think we are going to have some evidence when we go back. Whoa. What? I just felt like
there was somebody right behind me.You! The tours are officially over.
Oh man. Ok. I keep feeling like there is somebody down there. Me too, butThe tours are
officially over now, the tours are officially over thank you. So that was our cue that the
paracon was officially over and know that you know the back story of the video I’m able
to include that and it actually makes sense. Just when it happened, you know we had just
heard that breathing sigh, so it just definitely startled us, it was pretty funny, just pretty
funny timing. But in the end the Grey Ghost Paracon was a lot of fun. It was really cool
to investigate the Hornet and I am putting a link to the 2014 conference which is taking
place in February, where I’ll be the official MC and you’ll have an opportunity to investigate
the ship and meet some celebrities from your favorite TV shows. So the link to the paracon
and to the Ghost Files will be in the description box below. And in the meantime, if you liked
this video please make sure you hit favorite and like. You can use this end slate to subscribe
or check out some of my other videos. I appreciate you watching. I talk to you later. Bye.
