Lego 40203 Vampire and Bat Review

Lego 40203 Vampire and Bat Review

I’ve got here very nice set from LEGO
that I picked that today, it is set number 40203 and is a seasonal Lego set
released for Halloween in October and it’s a lego vampire with a little Lego
bat! It is really, really coo! I had to get this when I saw it! Something else
I like with this actually is that on the box you get a little skull with two
lines on it so you could actually put somebody’s name on there if you’re
giving this away as a gift. That is a nice touch and it looks really cool. The vampire looks a little bit weird to
be honest but that’s not really why I bought this – I really like the bat!
Let’s take a quick look at back in the back of the box. Here it’s got a few little pictures
about what you can do with this set. This is a little bit confusing because it
makes it look like the vampire can speak bit it can’t because there is nothing in there
that generates sound. I like the bat at the bottom because it has wings that can flap around
and everything. I just this it looks really cool sat on the vampire’s
head like that. So, let’s get on and build it! OK it wasn’t a particularly long build but it was quite enjoyable nonetheless. There are a
few things I really like about this. I particularly like his little feet made
from two tooth pieces and I like his hands as well which rotate because they are on a ball-joint. You can rotate those around to any position you like. It does look a little bit creepy with three fingers but I think it’s cool, I
like it. I really like the white stripe that he’s got on the side of his hair as
well and his ears are little tooth pieces as well so they look pretty cool. The back is not very exciting but one
nice touch is that they’ve used some arch pieces here to make the vampire’s hair. I
think that’s pretty neat because one of the things Dracula is known for
is his slicked back hair. The rest of the black lego bricks form his cape. You can see as
he’s moving along he looks kind of .. kind of creepy! It is rather cool, I do like this! His face is a little bit strange. I’ve
gotta say it doesn’t look amazing but it is quite well done. I
like that we’ve got a little horn pieces for the … oh, hold on! I just realized I
forgot to put his eyes on so maybe that’s why he looks so weird! Let’s just put this on here … and this one … oops .. his head fell off! Does that look any better? OK, he looks a bit better but still weird! I
quite like his goofy teeth and of course that is what he will use to bite people’s
necks with because that’s what vampires do. I like that he’s got his nice smart, frilly shirt on with a little bow-tie. Overall I think the lego vampire looks really
cool. It’s kind of unusual but it’s kind of creepy as well. I really like it!
I think it’s a good design. Now, let’s get on to the good bit
which is the bat! This lego bat is both ridiculous and creepy! I think it’s
awesome! It is cute. It’s creepy. It looks like it says “EEK” in a spooky voice and I just think it is
fantastic, I really like this. I wish I could get a couple of these then
I could put them in my Lego City. I could put them in the Lego 75904 Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion haunted house
area that I’ve got going on. I really like his little fangs here and his
little feet are really cool, they are made from the tooth pieces too. The wings are quite simple but they look
good nonetheless and on the back you can see how they made. There is a little arm
sticking out here which clips on to the bat’s body and it’s got a little clip on the top of the wing to
form his claws. These can actually rotate forward and back so you can
have him flapping his wings like a bat would. I like this
coloured piece here that he’s got under his little ears. I’m not sure what it represents but
it makes me think that it is a smart looking collar or something like that. I think
it’s really cute. So that is the Lego Bat and it is awesome! I can put this
anywhere. I could have it flying around the modular buildings. It is really awesome and I am
totally happy with this is. If i take him off and
bring back the vampire, because the bat has got two tooth pieces to form his
feet he can actually attach to the vampire’s hand like this so he can hold
him like it is a little pet. Although, in the real Dracula story can’t Dracula
turn into a bat rather than have a bat as a pet? I’m not sure! Anyway, I really like
this lego set, I think it’s fantastic and would make a nice little gift for someone at Halloween. So what do you think? Do you like the Lego Vampire and Bat set too? Let me know in the comments below what you think about it,
especially the bat! I think he is the best piece. and as always if you want
