Welcome to another episode of Our Haunted Travels, with your hosts Shawn and Marianne Donley hahahahahaha
hello there parapeeps we just did some shooting up here at the lighthouse UT
lighthouse right up there yeah we’re up here at what is it Point Loma Point Loma
yes look at this view actually migrate this is very very cool up here
what’s it too bad getting up here goober ride nice paved pathways it’s really not
that bad of a hike or anything like that on the way back I’ll shoot the other
side of this I’ll flip it around say guys yeah
just pretty cool up here so we’re gonna go down this way there’s the lighthouse
we just did the inside this in front of course it’s haunted it’s got paranormal
claims so it’s one of our two locations I didn’t notice it until I saw the
eyeball and I’m like the way Wow look at this they see fake ocean I’m pointing at them antennas you guys
want to see the ocean we’re not going down there there’s people you can walk
down there but we’re not doing that that’s Mexico over there I don’t know if you guys can hear it
baby hear the waves crashing upon the rocks down there December through March
is when they migrate through here the whales yes so we’re a month early
some kind of island out there a couple islands all right we’re gonna cut for
now we’ll get the other side walking back to the Visitor Center that’s kind of cool we actually hear the
ways right here because of this canopy another shot of the lighthouse that’s San Diego over there it looks like cell towers don’t know
exactly what they are but they look important they look impressive probably sign up
here it says don’t jump the fence let’s see for access contact somebody else
besides Shawn you’re not a lot in there the weather station right there so that
the spot you see right there in the foreground that’s Cordova Island Cordova
that right Coronado Coronado all right so on the
other side of that island way off in the distance there’s actually where we’re
staying that’s the bay on the other side of that
island there and of course at this point you don’t see any aircraft taking off
but you would tell where that was that going there aircraft take off there’s a
bridge over there to goes the kornata Coronado I don’t know that’s why I have Marianne
with me ugly completely lost that’s I know that’s Mexico over there that’s
Mexico that’s United States that’s Mexico so
it’s the name of that money kibriya money yeah we got some pictures down
there that monument right there that’s where we’re gonna walk to we’re gonna
walk back to there actually to the other side of that the Visitor Center you have
boats out there that’s why that’s gorgeous the sun’s warm but the breeze
is cool can’t complain for November 11th I get turning us around yeah we’re
probably washed out cuz the sun’s behind this but yeah so we got in here free
today beautiful day free entry it’s perfect
yeah so we got today tomorrow and we’ll fly home Tuesday so when we leave here I
think we’re going to go back up the old town try to get it into the Whaley House
there’s a couple more houses up there tomorrow we’re gonna try to go over to
what is it Coronado Island there’s a couple hotels downtown let’s try to hit sure well let me show them just like I
show you guys this so this is the other side of the there’s
the lighthouse right there by the way that’s the lighthouse this is the other
side of lighthouse it’s downtown San Diego hopefully we get
service always your heads crooked maybe there’s the yeah yeah we stopped at that
cemetery there’s some claims there if you could see it all through Manhattan
yeah they stopped there on the way and did some filming or haunted claims there even tell me about like growing up nice little stroll by the way for the
happy trails hiking health challenge I’m sure we got our steps in for the month I didn’t record I climbed this hill up to
the lighthouse you know it’s not rocks and stuff nice flat paved area I’m still
taking it it’s still steps you get some more pictures because you know they
never get enough I think that tree over there is actually kind of cool I advise
that pretty this must be like walking with me I’m
sorry the keep look where she at don’t worry
about the copyright music that looks hilly army radio station I guess we’re gonna
go check out the army radio station the United States Army constructed this
building in 1918 to serve as its first radio station for Harbor defenses in San
Diego since then it’s had many uses including a meteorological station and
it’s a support post our coastal artillery building during World War two
they collected wind speed Direction all that kind of stuff and when the Cabrillo
National Monument was open it became the headquarters and storage building when
the current visitor center opened in 66 both houses and exhibit to the world
world shed up there they look like giant bonsai trees pretty cool stuff not to show all right folks well we hope you enjoyed
our little stroll here at awesome shed it does have some interesting things
inside so we’re going to make our way over there to the Visitor Center check
that out and see hopefully we’ll get it uber back out of here hey till next time
